Very Happy (and now warm) Customer in Harrogate
Chris and Nick have done an excellent job for us on our period detached house in Harrogate. From the initial survey and quote, the information provided has been really helpful and they have always been prompt with their responses. Having had a few companies quote and being let down by another contractor last year, Bentley Bros were recommended to us by a friend and their pricing was very competitive. The windows have now been in for a couple of months and the quality of the workmanship and installation is superb. The windows are very well manufactured with modern secure locking mechanisms and a great paint finish (hardwood). They ensured our very cream carpets were well covered and protected as well as cleaning up at the end of each day and are trustworthy enough to be left to get on with the job. It can be a pain finding a good company to trust with such an important project so we're really pleased to have found the guys. Would highly recommend them - Thanks Chris and Nick.

Skilled craftsmanship
We were very pleased with the work done. Everything was completed to a high standard, with great attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship. The new windows really enhance the house and are in keeping with the style of architecture, in fact restoring some original Victorian elements which had previously disappeared, while at the same time being both modern and secure. Chris and Nick are very friendly and professional. Highly recommended - quite a wait for the work to start since they are so busy, but completed speedily once started and worth it!

Excellent bespoke sash windows and installation.
Fully fitted front bay sliding sash windows, made to measure: excellent job, excellent quality materials and extremely skilful joinery. This was the second job we have had done by this local friendly firm, very pleased with the other 5 fitted sash windows, and two casement windows; we were confident to ask them back. We highly recommend their work to anyone who wants a quality installation.

The best sliding sash windows in Leeds
We have got to know Nick and Chris over the last 4 years whilst slowly replacing all of our sash windows and doors and cannot recommend them more highly. When we initially got quotes, we found their prices very competitive. What set them apart from other companies, however, was their friendly, nothing is too much trouble approach. We have not been disappointed. Our windows are beautiful and visitors regularly comment on them. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail cannot be faulted.
Seventeen windows, 2 doors and a French window later we are now finished and can’t help but feel a little sad knowing we won’t have the Bentley Brothers (often referred to as the Brownlee Brothers by our 7 year old) calling around sometime in the next 12 months.

Well worth waiting for!
We have used the Bentley Brothers a number of times to replace wooden frames windows in our period home and would definitely recommend them. They are always friendly, professional and highly skilled craftsmen. Their work is in demand so they have a waiting list but it is worth the wait to achieve such great results!

Beautiful windows
We're delighted with of both the sash and casement windows which have really enhanced the appearance of the house. People comment on the quality of the finish. We keep asking the Bentley Brothers back to do more!

Wooden sash windows
Bentleys have now replaced 7 of our windows. We are extremely happy with the quality and workmanship of the windows, but also with their service. We would ( and have ) recommended them to others, and will certainly be using them for our other windows in due course.

1920s window and French door restoration
Highly recommended. This was a challenging project, working in a conservation area, requiring great attention to detail and craftsmanship. Both were achieved on time and to the agreed budget. The end result exceeded our expectation.
Nick and Chris were a pleasure to work with, treating the client with courtesy and the premises with care.

Quality Craftsmanship - Brilliant craftsmanship
After two years of sourcing information on companies I finally stumbled upon Bentley Brothers. After two days work I had a new front door and three beautiful sash windows installed with minimal disruption. No hidden cost, a good payment plan of 10% deposit when you place your order, second deposit when the windows leave their workshop to have a coat of spray ( your own colour choice) then last deposit on completion. Nick and Chris know their craft, that's why there's no pushy sales and they work six months ahead, not driven by overtaking on orders just delivering first class quality products and excellent craftsmanship. I would recommend them to anyone who has doubts on a company to use, thank you both so much, it's just a shame you only produce windows and doors!

Brilliant Craftsmanship
Bentley Brothers reinstated wooden sash windows over three floors in our 1906 property.
During the quoting stage (we approached six companies) it became clear that their double glazed sash window product was superior to anything else we looked at mainly in terms of finish, materials, seals and details like catches/sash locks etc. We were also impressed by their use of Accoya acetylated timber in combination with a tough high tech sprayed paint finish. Nick and Chris were keen to discuss all aspects of the job and we felt we could ask anything/query anything with honest replies.
There was minimal disruption to our property over approximately two weeks of old window removal and new installation (quicker than we thought!). Dust/mess was at a minimum with conscientious use of sheets/covers for furniture etc and the property was left secure throughout.
The finished installation is excellent. Bentley brothers are craftsmen that take pride in their work and come highly recommended.

Top quality workmanship
Bentley Bros supplied and fitted a bespoke hardwood door, including casing, copying an existing door in the property being renovated.
Both service and quality were excellent - from our experience they are towards the high end of the price range and you really do get what you pay for.

March 2017 Installation
Had two bay windows and a small bedroom window with clear glass and a front door and hall window with encapsulated leaded and coloured glass (one original one replica) fitted in March 2017. We're absolutely delighted with the end result and have already had two knocks on the door from admiring neighbours asking for details of who did the work.
Nick and Chris clearly know their stuff and convey absolute confidence in what they're doing, taking great pride in delivering and fitting a quality product. There's no hard sell, they're confident in their work and offered what I felt was genuine feedback and opinion on our ideas and options. We took two references before ordering and both had nothing but positive comments to make. The only downside is perhaps that they are so in demand that you may have to wait a while to get a slot in their work schedule - they're experienced tradesmen making to order not a mass production factory! We'll definitely be using Bentley Brothers again.
